Serves: 28 person(s)

Preparation Time: 15 mins
Cooking Time: 30 mins

Yield: 2 x loaves

Low-cal, low-fat and full of wonderful flavor!

Suggestions:

* For the dough, start by adding 1 1/2 cups water, increasing up to 2 cups water, as needed (amount will depend on variables, e.g. humidity, elevation, flour texture).

Ingredients:

4 cup whole-wheat flour

1/3 cup wheat gluten

1/4 cup honey

1 tsp salt

1 Tbsp butter

2 tsp instant yeast

1 1/2 cup - 2 cups water *

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350ºF.

Place all ingredients into bread machine on dough cycle according to
manufacturer's directions. Alternately, mix all ingredients in a large stand mixer, or mix by hand.

When done (bread machine will beep), remove and split dough in half. Pat out each into a rectangular shape and hand roll into a firm log. Place each loaf seam side down into an 8x4-inch (or 9x5-inch) lightly-sprayed pans. Let rise until double in size.

Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes.
