


Steak marinated in beer and spices - whether it's the Super Bowl game, a tailgate party or sport's night, this meal scores high!
1 cup flat beer
1 cup hickory or mesquite-smoked barbecue sauce
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp chili powder
4 Certified Angus Beef ® top blade steaks (about 4 oz each)
Combine beer, barbecue sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, and chili powder. Place steaks in shallow dish; pour sauce over steaks. Refrigerate and marinate for 25 to 30 minutes.
Broil steaks 3 to 5 inches from source of heat for 5 to 6 minutes for medium-rare, or grill over moderately hot grill/coals for 3 to 4 minutes per side, or to the desired degree of doneness.
Brush steaks frequently with sauce while grilling.
Serve with a green salad or vegetables and new potatoes.
