Ingredients Convert to Metric

  • 8 oz nonfat plain yogurt
  • 1 cup skim milk
  • 1 1/4 cup whole fresh or frozen strawberries, hulled
  • 1 fresh peach, peeled and sliced, or 3/4 cup frozen peach slices *
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 Tbsp chopped walnuts (for garnish)
  • 2 whole strawberries (optional, for garnish)


Place yogurt, milk, strawberries, peach, and vanilla in a blender. Purée for 15 to 20 seconds.

Pour into two tall glasses. Top each with 1/2 tablespoon chopped nuts. Garnish each glass with a whole strawberry, if desired.


* If you prefer a thicker smoothie, replace the peach with 1 small sliced banana (fresh or frozen).
