Yield: 5 x 1-cup servings
Peel, core and roughly chop the pears. In a blender, place pears, yogurt, lemon juice, and ice cubes. Blend until smooth. Add the pitted cherries and blend again until smooth.
Pour into 5 chilled glasses and serve immediately.
For a sweeter smoothie, replace the plain yogurt with an equal amount of low-fat berry yogurt.
