Whether or not they are topped with whipped cream, café coffee drinks can be high in calories, fat and carbs. Our Recipe Makeover substitutes carob and skim milk for chocolate syrup and half-and-half, making a 'guilt-free' beverage.
Dissolve coffee and carob in hot water. Cool; add sugar substitute.
Place coffee mixture and skim milk in blender or screw-top jar. Mix thoroughly until combined and frothy. Serve over ice cubes.
