A smoothie high in color and nutrients!
Ingredients:
1 cup green California seedless grapes, rinsed
1/2 cup cold water *
1/2 cup diced pineapple
1/2 cup ice cubes
2 tsp sweetened green tea powder *
Directions:
Purée all ingredients in blender until smooth. Serve.
Variations:
* If green tea powder is unavailable, substitute 1/2 cup tepid brewed green tea plus 1 teaspoon sugar for the green tea powder and omit the 1/2 cup water.
* If a less sweetened tea is preferred, use unsweetened green tea powder.
