A delicious granola-type cereal that can be eaten for breakfast with cereal, over yogurt, or for a quick snack on the go.
Ingredients:
3 cup old-fashioned cooking oats
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup SPLENDA®
1/4 cup canola oil
2 egg whites
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350ºF.
In a mixing bowl, combine dry ingredients (oats, cinnamon, baking powder, salt, and Splenda®). In a separate bowl, mix together wet ingredients (canola oil and egg whites); stir wet mixture into dry mixture.
Bake for 30 minutes in preheated oven.
Variations:
After baking, can add craisins or almonds to granola mixture (serving suggestion not included in nutritional analysis).
