Ingredients Convert to Imperial

  • 3/4 cup rolled oats
  • 2 cup low-fat milk
  • 1/2 cup chopped apples
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tsp superfine sugar (or brown sugar)

Directions:

Combine the oats, milk and apples in a saucepan, and stirring, bring to a boil. Allow to simmer for 5 minutes stirring occasionally, before removing from the heat.

Spoon into serving bowls and sprinkle with combined cinnamon and sugar.

Variations:

Serve with extra milk, if desired. And, can replace chopped apples with an equal amount of low-sugar canned pie apple.
