Preparation Time: 5 mins
Cooking Time: 10 mins

Yield: 4 x 4 oz. burgers

A great burger for tailgate or Super Bowl parties...or anytime!

Suggestions:

Burgers can also be cooked on lightly oiled grill or barbecue.

Stove top: Heat 1 to 2 teaspoons canola oil in heavy skillet and pan fry 3 to 5 minutes per side, until no longer pink in center and the internal temperature registers 165ºF (allow for extra oil calories).

Ingredients:

1 lb lean ground turkey

1 1/2 Tbsp prepared horseradish (1 - 2 Tbsp)

1 1/2 tsp paprika

1 1/2 tsp Dijon-style mustard

1/4 tsp black pepper

1 dash of salt

Directions:

Combine all ingredients. Shape turkey mixture into 4 burgers, about 1/2-inch thick.

Place burgers on lightly greased broiling pan. Broil burgers 4 inches from heat, turning once, about 5 minutes per side, until no longer pink and the internal temperature registers 165ºF.

Variations:

Serve on hamburger buns with lettuce, tomato, low-fat cheese and extra mustard, if desired.
