Yield: 4 x 1/2 cup

This quick and refreshing snack is also great as a light dessert.

Suggestions:

Fresh fruit renders the best full-flavor results.

It's also best to use semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips instead of milk chocolate chips.

Ingredients:

4 small ripe peaches, sliced (or 2 large)

1 tsp ground cinnamon

1 pinch ground nutmeg

1/2 cup fresh raspberries (2 oz)

1/2 cup fresh blueberries (2 oz)

3 Tbsp semi-sweet or dark chocolate mini chocolate chips (1.5 oz)

Directions:

Wash and drain the fruit. Slice the peaches.

In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the sliced peaches with cinnamon and nutmeg. Set aside.

In a small mixing bowl, combine the raspberries, blueberries and chocolate chips.

Lightly stir the berry mixture into the peach mixture. Spoon the berry-peach mixture into 4 bowls and serve.

Variations:

Try substituting shredded coconut or raisins for the chocolate chips.
