Ingredients Convert to Imperial

  • 2 Tbsp chopped fresh chives
  • 2 Tbsp capers, drained and chopped
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 242.86 g fat-free spreadable cream cheese
  • 1/2 large pita bread (6 1/2 inch diameter)
  • 1 (14 oz) can pink salmon, rinsed, drained, flaked
  • 1 medium red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 medium head of cos lettuce, shredded

Directions:

Using an electric mixer, beat chives, capers, lemon juice, and cream cheese in small bowl until combined.

Spread cheese mixture along center of each pita, top with salmon, onion and lettuce; roll up. Cut rolls in half and serve.

Variations:

Add rinsed alfalfa sprouts or other vegetables.
