For a special occasion or holiday ham, try this delicious glaze!
Suggestions:
You may wish to stud the ham with cloves before glazing and baking.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup apricot nectar
2 tsp orange rind
1 tsp brown sugar
1 tsp mustard seeds
2 Tbsp apricot conserve (or jam)
2 Tbsp lemon juice
Directions:
Remove rind from ham. Place in a lightly greased baking dish.
Combine glaze ingredients. Brush glaze over ham. Bake in a slow oven (300ºF) for 2 hours. Baste with glaze every 30 minutes. Serve ham warm or cold.
