Ingredients Convert to Metric

  • 3 large fresh California avocados (about 8 oz each), seeded and peeled
  • 1/4 onion, chopped
  • 1/2 large clove garlic, crushed
  • 1/2 small tomato, diced
  • 3 oz low-fat Monterey Jack cheese, grated
  • 1 green chili, diced (or to taste)
  • 0.17 cup fresh cilantro (1/6 cup), finely chopped
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 tsp seasoned salt

Directions:

In a large mixing bowl, coarsely mash avocados, leaving some chunks. Add remaining ingredients; mix to blend.

Variations:

Serve with veggie sticks, baked chips, or with Mexican food.
