Sautéed Tofu Patties

Ingredients Convert to Imperial

  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 tsp garlic salt
  • 1 tsp canola oil
  • 1 Tbsp canola oil, extra
  • 1 Tbsp salt reduced soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp water
  • 1 Tbsp water, extra
  • 2/3 cup rolled oats
  • 2 Tbsp torula yeast
  • 2 Tbsp Loma Linda Patty Mix
  • 342.86 g firm tofu

Directions:

Heat oil and water in a skillet. Sauté onion until tender.

Mash tofu well with a fork, or process lightly in a food processor.

Add onion and remaining ingredients to tofu, except extra oil. Mix well to bind. Shape into 12 patties.

Heat extra oil in skillet over medium heat and gently fry each side of patties 6-7 minutes until crisp and brown.

Serve with a mushroom gravy, jacket potatoes and vegetables.

Tips:
