A smooth and creamy sauce that's easy to prepare.

Yield: 4 x ¼ cup serves
Place margarine in a heavy based saucepan and melt over low heat. Remove.
Stir in cornstarch to form a smooth paste then slowly add nonfat milk and stock cube.
Return to heat and cook while stirring until thick and smooth. Remove from heat and stir in wine. Reheat gently and serve.
Melt margarine in a microwave dish on HIGH for 1 to 2 minutes.
Stir in cornstarch, milk and stock cube.
Cook on HIGH for 3 to 4 minutes, stopping to stir once or twice while cooking.
Add wine and return to microwave on MEDIUM to reheat for 2 minutes.
Wine may be replaced with chicken or fish stock.
Recommended to serve with Chicken Kiev and Lemon Fish Rolls.
