One pot, quick, delicious dinner - during Oktoberfest, or anytime!

Yield: 6 x approx. 1-1/2 cup servings
Place onions in bottom of dutch oven or large skillet. Add butter and sauté onions over medium heat.
While onions are cooking, cut potatoes into fours. Put potatoes on top of onions. Slice kielbasa into bite-size pieces and place in pan with onion-potato mixture.
Cut cabbage into quarters, then each quarter in half. Try to separate cabbage leaves as you place them on top of kielbasa-onion mixture. Add chicken broth, enough to get about 1/2-inch on bottom of pan (more broth may need to be added during cooking).
Add seasonings. Turn heat to medium-high; bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Once it is boiling, turn heat down to low, cover and simmer for 20 to 25 minutes, or until potatoes are tender.
Replace turkey kielbasa with other version, if desired.
