A luscious taste treat for a special occasion!
Per serving: 250 calories and 13 g fat
Saves: 222 calories and 20 g fat compared to traditional home recipes, and saves up to 1150 calories and 52 g fat over restaurant Tiramisu!
A serving of restaurant Tiramisu can be as high as 1400 calories with 65 g fat. Although home recipes may have fewer calories, they can still deliver a mouthful of calories, fat and saturated fat. Strawberry Tiramisu uses a lower fat cheese and cream and omits the eggs. Fresh strawberries add color, nutrition and taste appeal!

2 packages (8 oz each) Neufchatel cheese, softened 3/4 cup powdered sugar 1 container (8 oz) frozen light whipped topping, defrosted 1 cup strong coffee, at room temperature 3 Tbsp coffee-flavored liqueur (optional) 0.71 L baskets California strawberries (18 oz total), stemmed and sliced 24 ladyfingers, split in half 2 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder |

|---|
0.45 kg Mascarpone cheese 1/3 cup sugar 1 cup heavy cream 8 eggs 2 cup expresso coffee 1/2 cup brandy liqueur 2 Tbsp cocoa powder 30 ladyfingers 28.57 g dark chocolate |
In large mixer bowl, beat Neufchatel cheese and powdered sugar until well blended. Gradually fold in whipped topping to blend.
In small bowl, combine coffee and liqueur, if desired. Line an 8 x 8-inch glass baking dish with enough ladyfinger halves to cover bottom; place rounded sides down. If necessary, cut ladyfingers to fit dish.
Spoon 1/3-cup coffee mixture evenly over ladyfingers. Top with one-third of the cheese mixture (about one cup) and spread evenly. Layer one-third of the strawberries (1 rounded cup) over cheese. Repeat layers two more times, ending with cheese and reserving remaining strawberries.
Cover and refrigerate tiramisu and reserved strawberries at least 1 hour or up to 24 hours. To serve, remove cover; sift cocoa powder over top. Arrange reserved strawberries over cocoa. Serve immediately.
