




Chicken stew - warming and comforting, especially on a cold day or when not feeling well.
1 whole, boneless, skinless chicken breast
1 pinch each of salt and pepper, to taste
1 head green cabbage, shredded
1 green bell pepper, chopped
2 carrots, shredded
1 small onion, chopped
2 chicken bouillon cubes
1 tsp cayenne pepper, or more to taste and tolerance
1 tsp dried thyme
Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces and place in a large pot. Add enough water to cover. Add salt and pepper.
Cook about 30 minutes. Add remaining ingredients, and add more water, if necessary. Cook about 10 more minutes. Serve.
