Ingredients Convert to Metric

  • 4 cup water
  • 1/2 cup sliced onion
  • 1/2 cup sliced carrot
  • 1/2 cup sliced celery
  • 1/2 cup sliced tomato
  • 1 dash of garlic salt
  • 2 chicken bouillon cubes

Directions:

Bring the water to a boil while you slice the vegetables.

When water comes to a boil, add the vegetables and boil for 5 minutes. Add the garlic salt and chicken cubes, stir, and cook for a further minute until cubes are dissolved.

Variations:

For an extra hearty soup, try adding 1/2 cup of cooked brown rice.
