Crispy, nutty patties.

Yield: 6 x 2-patty servings (yield: 12 patties)
Heat 1 teaspoon oil and 1 tablespoon water in a skillet. Sauté onion until tender.
Mash tofu well with a fork, or process lightly in a food processor. Add onion, garlic salt, soy sauce, 1 tablespoon water, oats, yeast, and patty mix to tofu. Mix well to bind. Shape into 12 patties.
Heat extra 1 tablespoon oil in skillet over medium heat. Gently fry each side of patties 6 to 7 minutes until crisp and brown.
For a complete meal, serve with baked potatoes, vegetables and Mushroom Sauce (see recipe link).
