1 pinch of cracked black pepper, or to taste 1 Spanish onion, cored and thinly sliced 3/4 cup white wine 1 green apple, cored and thinly sliced 4 slices low-fat Swiss cheese Directions:
Cook onion in pan until softened. Add the wine and apple to the pan and simmer for 5 minutes or until reduced by half. Return steaks to pan and top each steak with onion and apple and a slice of cheese. Cover and simmer until cheese melts. Variations:
