1 cracked pepper to taste 1 Spanish onion, cored and thinly sliced 3/4 cup white wine 1 green apple, cored and thinly sliced 4 slices swiss-style cheese Directions:
Cook onion in pan until softened. Add the apple and wine to the pan and simmer for 5 minutes or until reduced by half. Return steaks to pan and top each steak with onion and apple and a slice of cheese. Cover and simmer until cheese melts. Variations:
