Ingredients:
Traditional holiday eggnog is made with rich, high calorie, high fat ingredients. Although this traditional recipe is non-alcoholic, many recipes also call for 1+ cup of rum or brandy.
The Eggnog Wassail made-over recipe trades the whole milk and heavy cream for nonfat eggnog. Spicing it with apple cider, this eggnog blends fall and winter flavors together, making it a special nog for the holidays! | Recipe Makeover |
|---|
3 quarts (12 cups) nonfat eggnog
1 1/2 quarts apple cider
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
4 whole cloves
|
| Traditional Recipe |

2 cup sugar
4 cup heavy cream
4 cup whole milk
2 Tbsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
|
