I wanted to lose some weight AND keep it off. Now after educating myself I am very confident the weight will remain off.

Eating better. Much better actually. I did exercise about once a week, but eating to me was the bigger issue. It is much easier not eating that last piece of pizza than it is jogging on the treadmill to burn it off!
Traveling for work is really hard. Eating out healthily can take some practice.
Make sure you are ready to do it. There is no point in trying if you are not 100% committed. Stick with it and try to make healthier decisions every single day. It does get easier! Now I have absolutely no desire to eat some of the things I did before.

CalorieKing really made me realize which foods are good for me and which ones are bad for me. I never knew that there were so many things out there that sound healthy that are really terrible for you. I really think it is beneficial to calculate every single thing you eat for at least a couple of months to see what is going on.
