CalorieKing Toolbar Installation Guide For Internet Explorer
Internet Explorer 6.0 (Windows 2000)
Installation
- Using Internet Explorer, visit http://www.calorieking.com/toolbar/ and download the setup executable for the Internet Explorer version of the toolbar.
- Close all windows of Internet Explorer.
- Navigate to where the setup executable was downloaded and double click on the executable to begin the installation. You will need to be logged in with an administrative account to successfully install the toolbar.
- Windows Installer will begin preparing the installation.
- When the preparation is complete, the Setup Wizard for CalorieKing Joslin Browser Toolbar will be shown:
- Click on the Next button to continue with the Setup Wizard.
- Click on the Next button to confirm install and the necessary files will be extracted and installed. The progress will be shown like the following:
- When the installation has been completed successfully, click on the Close button to finish.
- During the install process, Internet Explorer will be started and the CalorieKing Joslin Browser Toolbar shown in the browser, as shown below:
Uninstall/Remove
- Close all windows of Internet Explorer.
- From within Windows 2000, goto Start | Settings | Control Panel, as directed by the red circle below:
- From within Control Panel, double click on the Add or Remove Programs control panel applet, as directed by the red circle below:
- From within the Add or Remove Programs control panel applet, a list of installed programs will be shown. Select CalorieKing Joslin Browser Toolbar from the list and press the Remove button, as directed by the red circle below:
- The Add or Remove Programs control panel applet will ask for confirmation to uninstall CalorieKing Joslin Browser Toolbar. Click on the Yes button to begin the uninstall as shown below:
- Windows Installer will prepare and then complete the uninstall. The progress will be shown like the following:
- When Windows Installer has successfully completed the uninstall, the CalorieKing Joslin Browser Toolbar will be completely removed. It will no longer be listed as an installed program in Add or Remove Programs control panel applet.
Internet Explorer 7.0 (Windows XP)
Installation
- Using Internet Explorer, visit http://www.calorieking.com/toolbar/ and download the setup executable for the Internet Explorer version of the toolbar.
- Close all windows of Internet Explorer.
- Navigate to where the setup executable was downloaded and double click on the executable to begin the installation. You will need to be logged in with an administrative account to successfully install the toolbar.

- From within the Add or Remove Programs control panel applet, a list of installed programs will be shown. Select CalorieKing Joslin Browser Toolbar from the list and press the Remove button, as directed by the red circle below:
- The Add or Remove Programs control panel applet will ask for confirmation to uninstall CalorieKing Joslin Browser Toolbar. Click on the Yes button to begin the uninstall as shown below:
- Windows Installer will prepare and then complete the uninstall. The progress will be shown like the following:
- When Windows Installer has successfully completed the uninstall, the CalorieKing Joslin Browser Toolbar will be completely removed. It will no longer be listed as an installed program in Add or Remove Programs control panel applet.
Internet Explorer 7.0 (Windows Vista)
Installation
- Using Internet Explorer, visit http://www.calorieking.com/toolbar/ and download the setup executable for the Internet Explorer version of the toolbar.
- Close all windows of Internet Explorer.
- Navigate to where the setup executable was downloaded and double click on the executable to begin the installation.
- Windows Vista will require confirmation through its User Account Control to continue with the installation. If you are logged into Windows Vista using an unprivileged account, then you will need to enter the credentials of a privileged account into the User Account Control when prompted. An example of a User Account Control prompt when installing the toolbar using a privileged account is shown below:
- Click on the Continue button to allow Windows Installer to prepare for the installation.
- When the preparation is complete, the Setup Wizard for CalorieKing Joslin Browser Toolbar will be shown as follows:
- Click on the Next button to continue with the Setup Wizard.
- Click on the Next button to confirm the install and the necessary files will be extracted and installed. The progress will be shown like the following:
- When the installation has been completed successfully, click on the Close button to finish.
- During the install process, Internet Explorer will be started and the CalorieKing Joslin Browser Toolbar shown in the browser, as shown below:
Uninstall/Remove
- Close all windows of Internet Explorer.
- From within Windows Vista, goto Start | Control Panel, as directed by the red circle below:
- From within Control Panel, double click on the Programs and Features control panel applet, as directed by the red circle below:
- From within the Programs and Features control panel applet, a list of installed programs will be shown. Select CalorieKing Joslin Browser Toolbar from the list and press the Uninstall button, as directed by the red circle below:
- The Programs and Features control panel applet will ask for confirmation to uninstall CalorieKing Joslin Browser Toolbar. Click on the Yes button to begin the uninstall as shown below:
- Windows Installer will prepare and then complete the uninstall.
- Windows Vista will require confirmation through its User Account Control to continue with the uninstall, as shown below:
- Click on the Allow button to let Windows Installer continue the uninstall of the CalorieKing Joslin Browser Toolbar. The progress will be shown like the following:
- When Windows Installer has successfully completed the uninstall, the CalorieKing Joslin Browser Toolbar will be completely removed. It will no longer be listed as an installed program in Programs and Features control panel applet.
