So its Monday, I had a great weekend. DIdn't worry about calories. Just enjoyed my little girls birthday party weekend. Enjoyed some wonderful buttercream birthday cake. YUM!!!!
Today I was supposed to get back on track. I had an appt with Josh. Well, Andrew is sick with a fever and a yucky nose.

So I had to cancel.

I really needed to be there today.
Instead what did I do????
I ate 2 doughnuts and a cupcake. Yep, you read that right. Great Idea right???? Burn major calories, no. Instead I ate major calories, fat and sugar!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!
Oh well. I will not let this ruin my day. I am getting back on track. I have my water bottle at my side. I have planned out my meals for the rest of the day:
Healthy Choice Steamer Beef Merlot for lunch (230 cal with serving of veggies!)
AM snack- strawberries
PM snack- baked apple(with small amt splenda and pumpkin pie spice)
Dinner- lg spinach, mushroom, carrot salad with ken's honey mustard spritzer, chicken breast and couscous
I will run for 30 min and then do 60 min pilates at Andrew's nap time. This should burn a decent amount of calories. I will still be under calories for the day. Way too much sugar and fat, but this I cannot take back. I can only move forward. I am pleased with myself that I am not going to allow this to turn into any more of a binge than it already was.
I do not do well with sweets in my house in the am. When I am half asleep I seem to be able to just inhale my trigger foods- sweets or pizza. If its in the house, when I stagger down the stairs in the am it seems to find my mouth. I have done so well with not allowing this to happen over the last weeks. I don't even remember the last time I did this. Today, I did it without even thinking. The second doughnut however, that one I ate fully awake. BAD ERIKA!!!!
Oh well. ITs over. Time to move forward. I will make good choices the rest of the day. Will stick to my plan. I WILL NOT TOUCH THOSE CUPCAKES AGAIN TODAY. NO WAY!
I am looking forward to wearing my HRM during Pilates and seeing how many calories I burn there. I will do it after running so that my heartrate will already be up some.
THis week will be on plan. I will exersize daily. Hopefully Andrew will be better and I will get to the gym tommorow. If not, I will go after J gets home from work tommorow. There is a Yoga class I like on TUes nights. I like my BOdy Flow class on Tues am better, but if I miss it I will replace it with my back up yoga class.
OK, SO i FEEL BETTER NOW. GLAD i HAVE THIS BLOG TO GET MY FEELINGS OUT.

Hope your week gets better.... IMO nothing is harder than when your kids are sick. I get all off track. My son is 1 and going to daycare so it has been a roller coaster since December. I hope that you can still get your excersise in for the week even if it is just to take a break. You have done such a good job so far!!
