View CRAZYMOMMY's food & exercise for this day

Well I got out all of my spring and summer clothes last night. It was in the 80s last week here is SC and I didn't have any shorts out. So all I I have is size 12 and mostly large tops. It was really cool to try on all of my old shorts adn have them either fall off or be really loose and baggy!!!!:rock1::rock1: I am really psyched about it!
On the other hand, I don't really want to buy new stuff till I get down to atleast 145. So I guess I will be wearing baggy stuff for awhile. It gave me the kick in the pants {pun intended:P} I needed to really step it up. WIth my race on the calander and a vacation the beginning of June, and now the desire for new summer clothes, I hope I will really stick to my NO EXCUSES rule I have made and knock out all of my exersize goals and nutrition goals and get down to 145 by June as planned!!!!

Yesterday was my first day back at the gym since being sick forever. I started my New Rules for Weight Lifting for Women Plan. Day one was really easy. I guess I will have to bump up the difficulty next time, or add a third set maybe??? I talked with my trainer about it yesterday (didn't workout with him though). I actually gave him my book to read. I am going to meet with him on Wed. We decided that each time I am at a new stage of the workouts in the book I will meet with him so he makes sure I am doing everything right and can modify or add a little or whatever... then I will continue on my own till the next switch.... I think its a good plan...a way for me to wean myself off of my trainer slowly, with a plan. I am confident and calm about this plan. I hope Josh likes the book. He seemed to be thrilled with it at first glance.....
Today its my 20 min run for C25K Week 5 ( I have been at week 5 forever due to being sick!!!). Then my BOdy Flow class!!! I am so excited to be back to this class. Its my fav exersize of the week. Its my treat!!! Its a combo of tae chi, yoga and pilates---with 10 min of guided relaxation at the end!!!!! Its way harder than it looks, burns cals while stretching me out, building my core, then getting the treat of total relaxation at the end!!I have missed it so much!!!!
Well gotta run to take caroline to school!

The book sounds like such a good book. I wanted my husband to order it for me..but he'd already placed the order for a few other health related books for me. I think I will have to get it though. :)

Congrats on the job stuff. :y: And trying on old clothes and having them be too big is always motivating, esp 2 months before summer! If the workouts seem too easy, I would suggest adding more weight instead of additional sets. I steadily increased the weights all through the first and second stages.
