Whew. It has been a stressful few days. Luckily my husbands job seems to be fine right now. He and his boss had a long talk yesterday and they both agreed to move forward from here. It is still stressfull because you never know how they will preceive his actions in the future but right now we are OK. He is looking for another position and he already got a call from his postings so far. So hopefully in the end it will all work out.

My job is just crazy busy right now. Nothing I can't handle but with the added stress of Jason's job issue it was really tough to get through the days.

I got into work early this morning so I could take the time to blog and get focused again.

Eating wise the past few days has not been good. But last night I prepared my lunch and snacks for today and are all logged. I am keeping my goal simple today. I just want to get a green check. I am not going to beat myself up about what I am eating.

I am also not ready to weigh myself. My longer term goal right now is to have a green check each day and then I will weigh myself next Thursday. I have been thinking about switching from the daily weigh in to a weekly weigh in for a while now. I think I might be more accountable about documenting because I notice when the scale drops down I tend to give myself permission to eat more........we will see.....I am going to try it this week.

:hi: weekly weighins are definitely better for the psyche -- especially when you have a lot going on. Aiming for a week of green checks is a good goal for now. You can do it!

I'm so glad to hear that your husband's job is ok for now. Anything to relieve just a little bit of pressure so that he can focus on looking. It takes a lot of positive energy to find a new job... the negative stuff will just make the search take longer! I often wonder if I could go a week without getting on the scale. Last time I stopped getting on the scale everyday, I gained 120+ pounds! I'll be following your experiment!!
