View SAXONHARP's food & exercise for this day

It has been busy for me lately. At work and home.

My husband is working so hard. I am very proud of how he is handling his work situation. He is doing his PT professional job and is working full time a Big Lots (a discount Wal-Mart type place). The funny thing is, he is in such a better mood! he is working a million hours but he comes home in a great mood and has more energy than he has had in a long time. The past couple years he really was getting depressed and was just getting so lazy and could not get out of it.

Things do happen for a reason. He feels valued at his other job and it is physcial too! They love him there and they are probably going to make him the furniture manager. If he gets this he will be making about the same amount of money as he was between the 2 jobs. What a relief finacially. He is also scheduling a professional interview sometime this week. We will see what happens.

The marathon is this Saturday! I cannot believe it is here. My daughters and I fly out on Wednesday. I am so excited my daughters can come. My brother helped out with the plane tickets so they could come. I have so many emotions about the marathon. 1 minute I am crazy anxious and the next minute I feel very confident. I know I did all the training and everyone says that the race is just icing on the cake!.

The past couple of weeks I have just been maintaining my weight it bounces between 216-218. I am OK with that until after the marathon is over.

I cannot thank everyone enough here . You have been so supportive and it has helped me so much!

I can't wait to hear about your race either!!!! It's a bummer our races are the same weekend, i'd come to Santa Barbara and cheer you on(it's less the 60 miles up the coast and a beautiful drive) Don't worry about your race, training is harder than the some point the race is a metal battle so stay positive!! getting everything out and ready the night before helps...and don't eat anything that will upset your tummy the night before! try and get good sleep 2 night before your race....cuz..really you'll be to excited to sleep the night of the race :) and so lucky your kids can be there :love:most of all HAVE FUN!!

Wow, I can't believe it's almost time! You are going to do great! The energy you will feel that morning just before the starting gun is going to be what pushes you across that finish line. I can't wait to hear all about it! I am so excited for you!
Hugs to your brother for helping with the girls tickets, that awesome.
Yeah for hubby! It's wonderful how everything is working out!

Wow, time flies!! I will be sending speedy thoughts your way.

I think sometimes we put so much pressure on ourselves in our "professional" jobs. It is kind of refreshing to have a job that you can leave behind and not worry about.
