My wagon must be traveling down the road and I'm running to catch up with it, 'cause getting back on it is not proving easy! :tongue10: I think I'm eating pretty healthily but when I diary my foods -- surprise! a million calories and I wasn't even trying! Yesterday I finally got to the pool and a good exercise session, and I was thinking, "Oh, yeah, green check for me today." However, my diary shows I'm once again waaaay over my calorie goal.

Looks like I'm going to have to plan ahead ...

Why do I love to eat?

Eating runs in my family, especially the females. Doesn't that sound hilarious? Like any one of us could stop eating. So the truth is that over-eating runs in my family, and on mother's side that even includes the men. I think this trait shows a lack of wit. If we would think better, faster, we'd be more entertained with other things and forget about eating as play. I've just listed my foods for today, and I'm at a green check at 8:00 p.m. But that yogurt looks so good.

Ya gotta get focused, ya gotta get serious, ya gotta get a plan.

Lolly-gagging around and telling myself stories about my food is not working out for me. We are not surprised.

Good things about me:
1. I read first two chapters of Beck Diet Solution today.
2. I diary-ed my food for yesterday and I've written down today's foods so far.
3. I ate lunch at the table.
4. I've got a plan.

We have such cute young women at our fitness center with great figures and tight form. And all of them so supportive and helpful. At yesterday's work-out I began thinking of when I used to be slim and tight, and comparing my today's body with then. You know what? I have a lot of room for improving my health, and dropping some (a lot) of weight would be a wonderful part of that, kind to my joints and feet, but I don't hate my present figure. How it went yesterday

I felt like I had a very good day on Tuesday. However, I didn't log in my foods & exercise until just now -- oops! I shouldn't eat anything at all today because I ate two days' worth yesterday! And I thought I was doing pretty good!

So far today, I'm in control. I have a meeting tonight though which could conflict with exercise class time, so I'll have to focus to get out of there quick-quick yet fresh-smelling!

It's that nighttime eating which is still my bane. I see another...
