Cranberry sauce, a popular dish particularly during the holidays, is generally high in carbs and sugar calories. This Recipe Makeover uses a sugar replacement to lower the sugar, but without losing the flavor.
Combine cranberries and water in medium saucepan. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered, over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until cranberry skins pop.
Remove from heat; mash slightly. Stir in Equal®. Cover and chill.
