  • 4 medium onions, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 14 oz canned tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/2 cup tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 tsp table salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 Tbsp canola oil
