My worst nightmnare

The price of going to bed without an evening snack

Twas the night before weigh in
and through the late hours
the sound of "munch" munching
cascading my ears.

I rose in my slumber -
it must be a dream.
I went to the kitchen
And saw the ice cream.

The table was was covered
with ice cream in cups,
with whipped cream all over,
and lovely crushed nuts.

I searched through the cabinets,
I looked for a spoon,
But no spoons existed -

Sleeping better

I can't be sure if it is the exercise or the lower caloric intake, or if it the fact that I am not eating as late in the evening. One or more of these, probably all three, are contributing to a sounder sleep and a less "frightening" morning alarm. I have only lost 4 pounds so I doubt that the weight loss per se has much to do with it at this point. All I know is that I feel much better in the morning, and have a lot more energy when I get to work. Don't get me wrong - I am a late...

Four Down

OK, this is working. I am a happy with my initial results of four pounds. Of course, I had wished for more, but we all always wish for more. I have figured out that four is actually more, I added a regular walking plan of 30 minutes a day and have stuck to it for the week so some of the fluffy fat has been converted to denser muscle resulting in a volume decrease that is out of proportion with the weight reduction. I am in a hole on my belt so this is a good thing. Besides, four pounds a week ...

Starting over
