Wow...so I thought I had blown today completely because I "binged" on two Kashi granola bars...turns out I am OK but fat intake too high. I count the Kashi bars as a binge because I ate them entirely for the purpose of feeding my faced cause I was po'd. Trainer and I talked about my crappy run on Saturday...need to up the carbs throughout the week so will be cutting back on the protein a bit. Will also meet with him this Thursday and see if that helps out any. Ah, and final strategy is to have a banana waiting for me at mile 11 (1/2 way through), with the idea that the gels are too much "surface" fuel and I need something that will last a little longer.

OK. That's it. Crummy post, I know. Today filled with dumb meetings...will probably abandon ship and hide out in the field for the rest of the week....farewell cruel office-world! ;p

Can I ask what are the gels you are talking about? Just curious.
