I did my water aerobics tonight, 90 min. I was so excited to see how it cut my calories down for the day. I was off track last week some, felt overwhelmed with life, so I let myself use that as a way out not to get to the gym. Of course I have now planed ot add a little time on each visit this week and today was that first day of more workout time. I was feeling good and was able to walk to my scooter after. I feel a little stronger as well. This afternoon I had to make an appointment at Kiser for a class teaching me how to use the test equipment for sleep apnea. I do not think I have it but my new DR. wants to check out everything and that is good. So tonight I get to sleep with it on and go in in the morning and see what it said about my sleep. I was added as a friend here today, made me feel good and a part of the program. I also had positive comments on my blog regarding my choice in not dealing with the family member using drugs and alcohol. It was a good evening, no fighting, no stress and lots of laughter. Annabella my granddaughter had a great time, she set the table it was very Martha Stewart. Anna pulled out all the good turkey china and sliver, boy there were a ton of dishes to wash but the table was lovely and her smile was as bright as the candles placed on the table. I cooked the meal so I was able to make better choices, such as the green bean casserole, well I made my own mushroom sauce for it with Smart Balance NF milk, same with the gravy as well the mashed potatoes. I used olive oil, as well as cutting the fat way back and a homemade pies all natural and the “coup de grace”, was no sodium. I was shocked no one even noticed and all loved the meal.
