Yesterday was a challenge for me. Hubby has Dr’s appointment for a vision check late in the afternoon. We had to go out of town for that Dr’s visit. It was over an hour drive and of course when he was done we were both famished, choices where and what to eat. So Mexican was his choice, all the chips and salsa one could eat. Well I took what looked like a serving and about 2 tablespoons of the salsa. I was more concerned regarding the salt as I have that restriction. Next the menu, well tortilla soup, rice and beans won out on the taco meal. I took my shrimp tacos home for 2 more meals. It is hard for me to have dinner out as hubby can eat all he wants and my efforts look great next to his eating, even if i do take more then I should. Yet still adding up those calories in CK, taking the hit and moving on seems to be the best thing. I have carried over the overage mentally to today and want to reduce my calories some for that reason and a longer workout is called for as well. I hope to keep that goal this afternoon and through the weekend., even adding a workout for Saturday and Sunday.
