Back on track after WD's from Tramadol

It took thirty two days to start feeling like my old self. With my weight loss and regained my health I felt it was time to remove Tramadol from my life as my hips pain had diminished greatly. I had been told that this was a safe drug, with little or no addiction issues. Will was I blindsided as I tapered down my body became very ill. This morning started with a positive note as Pandora, (Dorie), was able to wake me with her happy kisses and tail wagging while keeping her balance on the bed, a first in a little over a month. It made my day let me tell you and she seems better, less falling down and her ears are up and her face happy again. I feel like all the prayers have been heard and she is moving in the right direction and I am so thankful, also thankful to everyone who held a good thought and prayer for her, it is workin...I do not know how to live in the moment

Pandora, let me tell you about her, she has been my closest friend for twelve years. Pandora is not well and I am beside myself with fear of losing her and fear of her suffering. I know there are many who will think this such an odd statement, as she is a dog. Just after Valentines day Pandora had a seizure and her life took on changes, medication but we were ready to do what was needed for her. As the time has passed she has developed numerological problems. Her balance is off and she falls dow...

My Pandora was my "Empty Nester" pup, but grew to so much more. I am a lover of all creatures. Yet she stole my heart in a different way. She had a seizure yesterday afternoon and we rushed her to the vet. Once there she was given a full work-up and blood pulled. We are now waiting for the results of her tests. I am happy she has been acting great since we brought her home from the vets. Of course we are following all the guidelines and keeping things a peaceful as we can. 2/14/12I had a wonderful weekend with Scott in Santa Monica. I was left for the first time to work on making choices on what I ate while on vacation. I feel I had a mixed bag, some choices were great. Yet it was harder at dinner time, but I did ask with my choices for no fat and less sodium. I had wanted to make it to the gym while out but did not plan ahead for that. I would need to have purchased more gym gear. So lesson learned to take gym gear as I might have an opportunity to get to it ...
