Hello, my name is Stefanie. I joined CK with my son, Bear, who is 14 yrs old. We need to learn how to change our lifestyle to include more activity and better eating habits. I looked into other programs, but this one suits us best.
I have a lot of weight to lose, but I am not going to give up. I am going to take one step at a time and reach my goals.

Today I am starting to log my food again. I know I haven't gained, which is amazing, but I want to lose. My semester at school is coming to an end, so things should calm down a little until August.Bear just started a Personal Fitness Class at Florida Virtual School. I am having trouble finding the time to blog.Everything is going fine. I am not losing weight, but not gaining, so I'm not thrilled, but not upset.
I guess it's my own fault. I will make a plan and get everything back on track soon.
I have been working out, and that is wonderful. I have not, however, been watching what I eat as much as I should be.

I am juggling schoolwork and housework today. Bear has been banned from the internet for improper use (for a teenager). He is homeschooled by using the Florida Virtual School, so his schoolwork is on the internet, so, he is only allowed to access the internet when a parent is present and for school purposes only. We should have done that a long time ago. There are a lot of BAD things on the internet for ANYONE (even kids) to see.I have a bunch of schoolwork to do in between his schoolw...

It was a nice day. Sunny and warm, but not too warm. Perfect.We went to the park and Bear played Ultimate Frisbee with other homeschoolers. I took a brisk walk around the park. Then, I sat and talked with the moms. We all had a good time.
We are planning a trip to visit family in Mississippi. I stress out when we leave town, but this time is even worse because we are taking the dog with us. He is not experienced at travel and we don't know what to expect. I have to talk myself in...

Things are going much smoother now that I am only gone 2 days a week (to work). Finally, I am catching up with laundry/housework and I don't feel like I am behind in schoolwork. Bear is doing well in school, also. He is almost finished with the first half of Algebra 1 with a low B average. He's a good kid. His birthday is coming, April 5, he will be 15. He is starting Driver's Ed. the day after he turns 15 (age is a prerequisite). It's making me wonder if starting over with another child ...« Previous
