View BEARSMOM's food & exercise for this day
I'm getting back to logging and blogging. I'm glad, it feels good to regain some control. My life is a little more hectic than when I started CK because I now work more and I am taking 2 graduate classes on line. I won't let that get in my way of being healthy....I need to make it work for me instead.
I'm still working on how.
If only I could motivate my husband and son to get on the wagon with me.....they need it, too.
Hubby and I talked about waking up a little early each day and devoting that time to some sort of work-out. Bear's prize for not whining about it and motivating us is unlimited Netflix on the PC. Is that counterproductive? "ok, kid, work out with us in the morning, and if you don't complain about it you get to sit on your butt and watch movies all day long". I think we need to think of something else. But, that's what the kid likes, so it's motivation to him, right? UGH.
Our thought patterns got us in this mess, but it's hard to change.
Any suggestions?

I love teenagers, only six months and all my kids will be in their twenties (my baby is 19). You do need to offer something he likes and if it is movies it will probably work. Maybe not unlimited? One a day? Or for every 30 minutes he works out he earns 1 movie? I enjoy Netflix, I am rewatching movies from a looooog time ago, my teen years!! You are doing a great job having the family involved.
