CK day 5

So far, so good today. I haven't worked out yet, but I plan on it.
I am noticing I eat too much fat, even now that I have lowfat versions of my favorite things. What is up with lowfat peanut butter? It's not that low, and the calories are really up there. I need to figure out how to eat and be satisfied without the fat. And....I can't seem to eat enough fiber no matter what I eat. I feel like I eat a lot, but I guess it's not enough fiber. Day 4 with CK - The best one yet!

Today I went grocery shopping with my new CK state of mind. I think I did pretty good. I planned out my meals first, then looked for the low fat versions of our favorite things. With the tools I have now, all I need to do is pay attention to how much I eat and exercise. (sounds easy, hmmm)

I walked on the treadmill for 30 mins. Later, I plan on taking a bike ride to the park. I'm proud of myself.

Day 3 with CK

Well, I am getting good at logging my food. Now I just have to get better at eating healthy. I have a good shopping list made with veggies, low fat cheese and low fat meats, I just need to go get it. I am going to go shopping tomorrow since I usually shop at Super Wal-mart and it is probably packed on a Sunday afternoon. Monday will be much more managable. Day 2 with CK

I have logged my breakfast and am off to a running start. Knowing that I have to record everything that I eat makes me more aware of what I am putting in my mouth. I guess that is the whole point of CK. I hope I can make my first week a successful one. I am still not too savvy about how to cut calories and fat other than portion size. The first day....

PM:I am getting used to navigating the site. I have recorded my food today and that is a good start. Although, I ate tons of Thanksgiving leftovers. I am not going to be too hard on myself. I am here, getting to know this site and what I need to do to succeed, that should be enough for the first day. My goal for tomorrow is to watch what I eat and try to get some green check marks.
