Good AM!!
I ran this morning and packed stuff to run home. I'm so glad it is going to be sunny and 45 this afternoon! :)
I felt like a treat last night so I stopped at Panera for a 1/2 sandwich and soup to pack for lunch today since I was going to run allot. Of course it was pretty late and they were out of my 'planned' soup. Veggie(90 cal). I have been really wanting to splurge on the new tomato and roasted garlic so I got that instead. Good Morning! For some reason I am feeling extra great today!! I felt so good that I almost climbed up on the scale but my dear friend Em has warned me often about weighing in too much so I will wait till Thursday.
The sun is out, it is going to be 45 degrees today and I heard birdies singing !

I did great Tuesday through Friday! I went to a Bible/theology conference this weekend and was surrounded by baked goods and cookies, coffee cake (cinnamon and brown sugar.... my FAVE) But I did good. Saturday night I blew it a little, my parents had a lasagna dinner for my brother's birthday and everyone credits me to the best lasagna, of course I did the honors. I would have been perfect if I had thought to run upstairs as soon as I got to Mom's and filled in my diary for the day.

Had a rough start this week but since Wednesday morning back on track. I found that looking at my week's averages really helps. It's encouraging for me. Instead of dwelling on each day, either GREAT or CRAPPY , overall I seem to level out pretty good over 5-7 days. Hopefully that has something to say.
The scale doesn't always reflect my new happiness in the 'overall' results from week to week.
My best Cal.King buddy advised me to keep my butt off the scale every day! That has helped too. W...

Thursday, February 16th 2006

Had another great day. I swear when I have a protein shake and fruit for dinner I do so much better. I ran home tonite again. After tonight the temp. will be dropping back to normal for here. That is REALLY COLD>
I try to not just go hog wild with the food when I exercise more than plan. I can't convince myself that when you are trying to lose it's that 'even' of a trade. Maybe when you are maintaining the calories they trade evenly but I always feel like my metabolism is just a little slow...
