Kind of 'off-beat' this am for some reason...
I got up and ran 3m (225 miles since 1/8 !!)...it is STILL frickin' freezing outside at 5am, dammit! Even though the forecast says high 60's by Thursday and Friday afternoon the nights and mornings are still high teens/low twenties.
Added to the chaos was the thin sheet of ice (frozen remnants of last nights' rain)
My new running shoes haven't arrived yet and my current ones are so bad I really don't like putting my knees through that impact more than 30 minutes a day. Which is going to be a major problem when we really do get 65 degrees on Thursday after work and I want to get out there and tear it up!
Even though I had a rocky day on Sunday (as far as cal intake) my weekly average is actually scarily below net. I'm caught in that conundrum when my mileage in training starts to ramp and I'm afraid to eat more food!! I have agreed to eat more good foods and no refined sugar crap. I cannot get within cake, candy, cookies, pie or muffins without losing it so I am going to stick with the resisitance.
I know I harp on this but it's what I have to do... constant reinforcement!!
The sun is shining and I am tanning after work and then going to a new Bible Study on the book Fueled By Faith. I'm really looking forward to it.
I have the cal for a tall sugar free vanilla, non-fat latte at Starbuck's for study time! Yummy, I'm such a coffee snob!
