Good Afternoon!! :)
I am a bit late checking today. I really need to run an errand at lunch but I am procrastinating so I can sit here and type in my blog and eat a bowl of my hubby's homemade chili. :)
Sometimes the people I work with drive me CRAZY!!! They are so stupid! Ok, I'm done.
It's a run before and after work day so I am trying to rest as much as possible. The knee is a bit achy, I still need my new shoes. ARGH!
I went to the new Bible study last night and it was great! Traditionally all the small groups I am in share a crazy, irresistable dessert at every study and I was really dreading the resistance test. Plus it is usually around 9pm when I was 'done' eating several hours before. So since this group is a 'young womens' study and we are all weight conscious we unanimously voted... NO TREATS!! I was so relieved! AHhhhh. That's better.
I haven't really seen the hubby much this week and he sent me a mushy email first thing this morning... it brought tears to my eyes... To all of you out there who haven't met Mr. Right... "Please don't settle" I did once and I had no idea what God could have in store for me. man, did I learn the hard way and will suffer for that for awhile.
I felt like I had a HUGE lunch and snacks sack packed for today but running 8.5 miles is allot of calories burned and I am still netting out way below.
I'm still struggling wih eating more when I exercise more. This weekend I am putting in allot of miles so I am going to have to eat a bit more.
My new rule is to have only healthy foods. The longer I stay away from the sugar, the easier it is to resist.
We are going to stay at an Aunt and Uncles' overnight Saturday and I am sure she will cook up some home made fantastic creation. Remember portion sizes!!
