So, um it's raining cats and dogs today.... ALL day.
One of my little games to get me out of bed and running plenty early is to beat the bad weather. It seems here in Ohio that we have our share of incliment weather, especially in the spring. (at least I think we have made it to spring....)

It seems that whenever we have rain or snow coming in the morning it rarely finds us before 5 am. So if I bust it out at 4:30, I can still get a good 5 miles in before the wet stuff starts. True to form, I actually got to the shower just before the rain started. Yes! I win against mother nature once again!

Of couse Saturday it took me 3 hours to run my training schedule so again true to Ohio I ran through 2 snow showers, sleet and rain all in the same trek. Never a dull moment, what more could you ask for? :)

So this morning I am trucking along at a great pace and I tripped on the sidewalk. I thought I was flying... for a brief moment... then there was the sudden crash at the end. I look like a little kid who wiped out on my bike. My knees and palms are hamburger. Actually at first I was really worried that I had really hurt my knees, but now it's kind of funny. Thank you Lord, that I was not seriously injured. Makes you kind of aware that as long as I am well enough to be active and I sit around and not work harder to slim down, what a crappy steward I am.

It was a wake up call to take advantage of this great gift called health and get this weight off ASAP!
Especially since the hubby and I are talking about little ones soon. That will be good motivation!

Yesterday had a perfect day and today will be too, I can feel it!
Bible study tonight, with calories for a tall latte!
