View BECKAMARIE's food & exercise for this day

Good Morning! It's a no running day but I will fill with some walking, crunches, lunges and squats later. I don't really take days off of at least a 3 mile run but the closer I get to the marathon the nore careful I am with my knees. And they do much better when allowed a day of recuperation here and there.

Goodness I'm a little tired...... It felt soooo good to listen to the rain (um, for 3 mornings straight) but this morning I slept through my regular running time.
I ran my 10 miles on Saturday, went to dance class, had coffee with one of my GF, went to see my Momma, came home to do yard work and mow the grass, went to Lowe's with the hubby and crashed into bed after 11 (Sooo late for me :))

Then I got up at 6, ran 5 miles on Sunday (to prepare for Easter dinner :))
Had a great morning hanging with the hubby, getting Starbucks, cleaning, putting a ham in the oven (hubby 'cloved and pinappled' like a pro) made pasta salad and whole wheat rolls (yummy)

Set up the deck for the family coming over, mopped the kitchen floor on my way out..... then sat and read the paper on the deck till dinner.

I had the whole day's calories under control until the chocolate came with the family (damn them! :)) But I stayed under crazy zone and didn't eat until stuffed and I just dropped a later meal from the day so I'm doing ok. with it. I stuck to my new commitment to no red meat or pork for awhile and I am so glad I did. I know it kept my calories down and really helped me not hold water avoiding the ham. I am so glad that I drank all my water and got up early to run.

I wanted to nap after the family left but it was so great out and the older couple next door needed their lawn mowed so I enjoyed a 100 cal or so burn from push mowing their front and back lawns. My hubby is so puzzled as to why I insist on pushing a self propelled mower with the drive motor off. "You have to push harder than a regular push mower when you push that one..." he says every time. "Great!" I say back and he laughs.

I didn't check in today, I will check in Wed or Thursday. I did start trying on last spring's clothes and was a bit dissapointed. There are several pairs of pants and shorts that I cannot wear just yet. Humf. Really need to stick to the plan EVERY SINGLE DAY!!!

All in all, it was a great weekend and I am tired to show for it! :) I have a tannning date with hubby after work tonight and then it's off to bed by 10 so I can start the whole 4:30am jog schedule again!

Take care and have a FANTASTIC day each and every one of you!!
443 miles run since 1/8/06! ( and still going :))
19 days till the 'PIG' !!
