View BECKAMARIE's food & exercise for this day
Ahhhh. I am really enjoying these spring mornings.... Everyone is commenting on how we usually go from winter to summer and when I was younger spring was always my fave time of the year so I am lovin' this!!
52 degrees for my run and a high of 75 today. I am meeting Em for a coffee cooler at Caribou at lunch. That is exciting! We usually meet after dance on Saturday but she can't so it's a weekday lunch date. It's awesome now that my company re-located we are 5 minutes apart.
I wrote out a sensible time goal for actually taking this 15 pounds off fthat I keep whining (sp?) about. If I stick to it, with NO blow ups a reasonable goal date is July 1. It seems so far away but it would still be in time for my hubby's 20th H.S. reunion on July 4th! I know I can do this... I'm ready and summer is always an easier time for me to lose, I am more active so I am distracted from food when I stay outside...
I got home from Study last night and the hubby was making me a bird house in the tool shed. He's such a sweetie. I have a crabapple outside my window at the new office and I have started to feed the birds there. They are so fun to watch and I have been talking about it so the hubby is trying to expand my bird watching options.
Run was OK today. My heart and mind and lungs are all about it but my knees are really unhappy. The left one actually makes me run lopsided for the first mile or so.... I need to set my alrm for an hour before I get up to run so I can take some ibuprofen and go back to bed and it will kick in for my run an hour later.
I did my crunches and squats, I used to walking lunge up the driveway when I got home from a run but I can hardly bend the knees that far so I quit that for awhile. When this marathon is finally over I can go back to staying in shape for a half.... 5 or 6 miles 5 days a week, and a 10 or 15 miler on the weekend. That sounds nice.
So I am at work so I best act like it....

Hugs all around!
TTFN! ~Rebekah
