Good Thursday Morning!! Damn. I really wish it were Friday.....
Really good run today. I pushed hard and it did feel great. A little under 6 miles in 50 minutes. I'm no speed demon but it was a solid pace for me. This weather could spoil a girl.... 51 at 5 am and up to 79 today!! :)

I went to Dick's Sporting Goods last night and dropped a chunk of change... I really needed these things though and I want to break anything new in before the marathon so I know if it will work or not.... A super light weight 'Hind' shirt and a couple new pairs of socks. I like the super thin, wicking ones.... Even if they 'wick' I can't wear thick ones... blister city!! I got a new pair of under armour underware and an all white visor. I wanted a bright hat so my hubby could see me in the crowd and sometimes hats just get too hot and I hate sweaty sunglasses sometimes so I think a bright white visor will be just the trick! It took me a while to find exactly what I wanted and the guy working in the women's apparel was awesome! He was fun and helpful but not annoying... So I hope I'm set...

I have only a faint idea what the weather will be like on race day... this is OHIO after all. These things can change in a moment's notice... in fact yesterday's forecast said rain last night and Friday, Saturday and then we got no rain and today's weather calls for nothing all weekend. Hmm.

Anyways... I like to run with as little clothing as I can get away with and I like to be a little cool so unless it is below 35 I will wear shorts and short sleeves....

So... the 3 pounds I put on during a couple days of indiscretions (ie. Easter weekend) are off again. This would be more helpful if I were in maintenance... :) But it does show me that I can control a weekend here and there once I do get to maintenance and that feels great!

It's hard to believe that I was down 12 pounds from my current weight last year in June.... How easy it is to put back on.....
