Good Tuesday Morning!!

Nice little 3.5 miler this am. I felt good enough to squeeze in at least a 5 miler after taking yesterday off but I am trying to stick to the tapering part of the training even though I pushed the rest of it to the edge. I really want to finish this race strong and I know it's time to rest up.

Overdid the food thing yesterday. Such is life. Extreme undereat Sunday, drown my feeling ill with excess food the next. Best I can say about yesterday is it wasn't a sugar/crap binge. Just too much food.

Got the nails done and tanned last night.... I had to stop at the grocery for some incredibly expensive strawberries and the hubby needed yogurt for lunches.

Got home in bed after 11pm. Not my best idea when the alarm rang at 4:30 this morning. But I feel pretty good at this point so on to Bible Study after work and hopefully in bed by 10pm tonight. :)

Didn't have the 3rd 'period' in a row this last weekend. I'm usually very regular in that department but marathon training shuts that down for awhile. But hey, who's complaining!? :)

Forgetting about yesterday... Trying to shed those last 3 pounds before the race so I can run at 145 pounds. Would surely help the knees...

I hope my new shoes come today! What a dissapointment when they weren't here yesterday... I am getting SO EXCITED!! Bonus, my brother lives in Cincinatti and I get to see my beautiful nephew next weekend when we go down for the race...
