:hi: Hullo! Happy Friday!!

Work resembles a ghost town. Several employees have taken a 4 day weekend. My poor hubby has to work Saturday. Since he will be busy I am working for a friend who has a little garden shop downtown. She needs an early waterer so I help out on the weekends that the DH works. I have to be downtown by 6am but it's so peaceful watering by yourself and then I can walk across the street and get something fabulous at the organic cafe. OMG their food is unbelievable! They have tofu burritos and homemade veggie burgers with beans and beets in them.... Their salads are to die for as well. Yum Yum!

I picked up some frozen shrimp last night so we can have a sensible, elegant dinner sometime this weekend.... We don't really sit down to dinner because we are both watching our weight and find it easier to eat what we planned for ourselves and not put any undue pressure on eachother to eat 'what we fixed' for eachother.

We have very different eating schedules as well ( I eat little meals often and he would rather eat 2 or 3 good size meals) Of course this is easy in the fact that we do not have little ones to feed..... yet.

I am 2 days late but got a negative this morning on the test I told myself NOT to take. Oh well, at least I know now... for this month ;)

We have discussed how we are looking forward to raising children with healthier eating habits... I can't fully convince him of no red meat yet, but if I fix a majority of their meals (which I am sure will be the case :)) then they'll get plenty of grains and veggies and not so much in the meat department.... No pop either. I do sneak in a diet cola as a treat for myself to avoid something worse but the hubby hasn't had a pop (yes, I'm from Ohio:)) in years...

Back to reality! Time to work!
