View BECKAMARIE's food & exercise for this day

Um .... Really bad weekend. Kind of a blow out in prep for the no sugar challenge. Why do we do that? Binge on stuff we shouldn't have in preparation for a disciplined diet?

I know, when I stop to think about it that I just set myself behind 3 or 4 days in getting all this s#%t out of my system. Sometimes I wonder about myself.

On a brighter note. I have started the no sugar challenge and am very happy about it. Sweets are my downfall and I know that if I can get the desire out of my system I will be so far ahead in my weight loss race.

Worked all weekend again... 7 hrs on Sat and 12 hrs on Sun for the garden store. The $ is nice but I won't keep up this schedule for too much longer. As long as the DH is working I don't mind. Keeps me from going shopping. =D

OK, the REALLY exciting news.... First some back ground... Several years ago I was an assistant store manager at a retail store that I loved working for. I love retail anyways and I really enjoyed the product line, etc. It is a hard line , not clothing store.
I had been AM for awhile and the DM was awful. It had gotten to where we figured they were never going to do anything about the DM and I was separating from my husband, I needed a change. I got an offer from another company and moved on. I always missed that job and the great people there....Fast Forward to now...It was suggested that the GM (the girl who took my AM job when I left, eventually they fired the DM and the existing GM moved up to DM, then my replacement moved up to GM) wanted to relocate to the east coast... I don't like to get too excited about things that have a 50-50% chance of happening so I didn't give it too much thought except to make it known that I was interested, but only if I was GM.
Last night she (GM) called and told me that she had verbally accepted a store in Conn. and would I want to have the Columbus store?! Holy crap! I am so excited I'm about to bust, except I have not been officially offered the position. Hopefully today they will call me to let me know.

Did I mention it is a 12,000.00 pay raise? How crazy is that? Honestly is it too good to be true? Probably. I'll keep you posted.

I am having 'picnic lunch' on the lawn with my brother in 5th grade today. It's a gorgeous day so that will be great. I think it is the last day of school for him. Mom said he was pleased as punch that his big sister was coming. ;) I am 18 years older than he is.

Off to a fresh start! Hugs, Rebekah
